Preston CC returned a full house of wins on Saturday 21st May – some amazing performances all round in all teams

First X1 v Broxbourne CC –

Won by 66 Runs

Jake George batted superbly for a well deserved 100 and Big Ed crashing 29 to bring up 246/7

Preston Firsts restricted Broxbourne to 180/9. Casey Walker 2-30, Jack Stevens 2-29 and Skipper Max 3-45

Seconds v Broxbourne 2s

Won by 10 wickets

Preston’s bowlers ran through Broxbourne for 102. Waters returned 3-27, Ash Catlin 3-17 and Skipper Fleckney 2-15.

Hitting the accelerator from ball one Preston cruised home in 10.2 overs with Pete Gooden anchoring with 27 and George Biggs batted superbly for 58.

Third X1 v Flamstead

Won by 62 runs

Preston amassed 247/5 with Cal Blair so close with a superb 98 and supported by Nic Staddon with 65.

Preston bowlers restricted Flamstead to 180/9 with Arif returning 2-36 and Swampy 2-29

Fourth X1 v LGC

Won by 10 wickets

It was the young guns that restricted LGC to 142/8 with Jacob Williamson returning 3-28 and Harry Catlin playing in his first senior game 3-25

The opening pair of Hedgy (40) and Skinny Williamson (78) got the job done in 32 overs.
