Only Ashley Catlin’s gritty half-century (50) and a contribution of 35 from Fleckney helped Preston salvage some respectability as they were bowled out for 169 in the 49th over. In the chase, Preston’s Gallimore created tension by taking 4/19, and Bentley Heath’s batsmen struggled as usual. However, the cool heads of the Hubbard brothers, Michael (42) and O (45), guided Bentley Heath to a six-wicket victory, reaching 170/6 in 47 overs.
