Cricket Reports – 11/12 June
Preston Firsts went down by 8 wickets against Old Owens.
Preston Seconds went down by 5 wickets at the hands of Northampton Exiles.
Better news as Preston Thirds won by 106 runs against London Colney CC. Preston won the toss and batted reaching 208/7 with new joiner Amit Rajani leading the charge with 55.
London Colney were bowled out for 102. Henry Morecroft having his first game back for the club for a few seasons leading the attack taking 3 wickets, supported by Bhavin and young Job Williamson snagging two wickets apiece.
The Preston Fourths also enjoyed a big win over Stevenage clinching the deal by 86 runs. Preston reached 205 all out in 37 overs. Craig Tennant lead from from front chalking up another 100 (118). The attack was spearheaded by Josh Ashby who took four Stevenage wickets, supported by young Harry Catlin who claimed 3 wickets and Dan Phillips who took home two wickets and new comer Robert Webb taking one.
