Preston 4ths gained 10 points from their defeat at Rickmansworth. The home side chose to bat first and posted 181 all out, veteran Chris Newell bowling unchanged to take 3-87. But the chief wicket taker was Club Chairman, Paul Constantinidi, who achieved personal best figures of 7 for 64. However, only Chris Newell (27 not out) troubled the scorers as Preston slumped to a meagre 55 all out in their innings to lose by 126 runs.
