Bob Welch

It is with much sadness to report that Bob Welch, a hugely supportive and valued Honorary Life Member of Preston Cricket Club passed away. Bob was a keen follower of the club from his home adjacent to the ground, or the ‘meadow’ as Bob called it, and he managed a great deal of the clubs ground maintenance for many years. To no longer be able to hear Bob’s vintage tractor pulling the gang mowers in the breeze around the village is very sad. All of our thoughts are with Ros and family at this very sad time.
