Preston CC v Weston CC

An excellent batting and bowling performance tonight from the unbeaten U11 8 a side team on a cold, gloomy evening. A good mix of sound defence and regular boundaries saw Preston put on 308-4, Robert/Noah adding 29, Daniel/Addison 20, Rishabh/Harry 34 and Calum/Harry/Rishabh 22.
Weston reached 239-6 in reply, wickets to Rishabh and Calum and two for Daniel and Addison. Well done all!

Preston CC U-12’s v Hitchin CC U-12’s 

The rain finally cleared allowing Preston U12s to continue their unbeaten run with a convincing win against Hitchin on Thursday. Hitchin batted first but were unable to get going against the accurate Preston bowling with only Cameron (20) finding the boundary. Harry Chan’s spin returned an impressive 2-1 with Harry Cat 1-3, Nid 1-7, picking up the other wickets supported by catches from Rhys and Sam and run outs by Sam and Rob as Hitchin closed on 60-6 off 20 overs.
Daniel (11*) led the Preston reply supported by Sam (2) and a back to form James (6) with Xander (9*) finishing the game with two fours as Preston made 62-2 from 12 overs.
