The under 15s finally got a game in, Being inserted on a very wet wicket, we lost Gabe early on, Olly then came in and the field retreated to the boundary, a couple of boundaries followed before he returned to the hutch. Joe and Adam started a partnership before Adam hit a full toss to mid on. Luke hit a few big blows in his 21 and Joe looked good for 21 but when they fell it was left to Olly S to get us over the 100 mark as we finished on 107, maybe 20 short, A great opening spell by Adam reduced OA to 12/3 with all 3 being representative players. Luke needs credit for another excellent catch.

OA then rebuilt and with us only having 9 fielders were making use of the gaps, Alex bowled a good line and when Luke took another catch to dismiss one of the best batsman seen at Preston, it was game on. Jacob and Olly bowled tight but the gaps in the field enabled OA to get over the line with a over to go. Good performance against a very good batting outfit
