2016 Season! Welcome New Players..

Happy New Year to all our Membership and all their families. We are already looking forward to a fantastic 2017 season and really hope to build on the amazing successes of the 2016 season.

With some of the best Saturday league results in recent memory which saw our 1st X1 finish 3rd, our 4 X1 finishing 4th, our 3rd x1 actually promoted to Div 9A and an superb season also for our 4th X1.

Our Sunday 1st X1 was also promoted to the Sunday Beds League Div 1 in their first ever season in the competition!

Our Juniors also followed by the senior example with most of our junior league sides finishing in commanding positions in the junior leagues.

Preston Cricket Club is always looking to welcome new players. We aim to provide safe, competitive and collaborative cricket for all our membership. We are managed, in the main, by current players and pride ourselves in offering a supportive and inclusive culture. We want our seniors to enjoy their cricket – at whatever level they play at – and our juniors to learn, develop and enjoy cricket through our own coaching programmes and so we can look to bring on youth players and thereby strengthen the club for many years to come.

We will continue to develop and improve our facilities. We built a brand new, state-of-the-art net training facility last year. We also secured the use of the neighbouring Whitwell Cricket Ground to give our 3’s and 4’s much improved playing and pavilion facilities. Due to a very committed and wide membership and also our ever-supportive Vice-Presidents and Life Members we can still offer the best value for our members.

We are looking forward to see where Preston Cricket Club is going and what we can achieve.
