Preston v Watford Town, County Trophy 2nd Round Sunday 22nd June

Preston secured a comfortable victory in their Saracens Herts County Trophy 2nd Round clash with Watford Town on Sunday. Preston bowled out Watford for 154, with Andy Riant completing a miserly spell of 3 for 15 in 10 overs after good work from Mark Waters had removed the top order. Preston had an uncomfortable start to their innings against pace bowler Ravi Panchal, falling to 23 for 3 before David Fleckney and Pete Skeels steadied the ship. Ben Hill’s 40* from 25 balls then saw Preston home with ease in just the 31st over. Preston now face Met Police Bushey in the quarter final on July 20th.
