Preston gear up for Village Cup clash this Sunday

Preston host Langleybury this Sunday (2nd) in The Cricketer Magazine National Village Cup 3rd round, which is effectively the Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire semi-final. The match begins at the “Field of Dreams” (aka the Preston recreation ground) at 1pm. After two good away performances to beat Elstow and then St Margaretsbury, Preston are aiming to reach the final of the Herts and Beds group for the first time. The winner will play either Botany Bay, or Wheathampstead, who knocked out last year’s trophy winners Reed in round 2. Preston are now a mere 6 rounds from Lords!
