New Nets Take Shape

Early Feb saw the start of a major new programme of works at Preston Cricket Club – the replacement of the old outdoor nets facilities with state of the art, artificial-surfaced nets. Still two lanes but there will no longer be grass run-ups with the artificial surface reaching the boundary of the Preston Ground, and being fenced in.

Preston to welcome Australian Justin Powick for 2016 season!

Preston Cricket Club is to welcome Australian Justin Powick to the club for their 2016 season campaign.

Powick (22) is a top notch batting prospect who has spent the past four seasons plying his trade in Victorian Premier Cricket for Northcote.
Since joining the club in 2012/13 he has played 64 matches, scored 1,689 runs all with an average of 26.39. He has reached fifty on 9 occasions, converting 3 into centuries, …
